About OWPCA

The Oklahoma Water and Pollution Control Association is a non-profit operator association organized in 1926 and dedicated to the advancement of knowledge among water and wastewater system operators.

OWPCA receives no state or federal funds. It is supported only through membership dues, advertising fees for the Drip Magazine, and the proceeds from its Annual Conference and Short School, held each year during the last week of October.

OWPCA works closely with the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality to provide high quality training opportunities that meet the standards for approved training credit. OWPCA District Directors and other volunteers conduct training sessions at District Meetings throughout the state. Over the years OWPCA has hosted hundreds of District Meetings providing approved Training to Operators over the State of Oklahoma.
